Why are my emails going to spam?

Updated Nov 2, 2026

Mailbox providers decide placement from many signals. MailRush cannot see where a campaign email lands; "sent" means the receiving server accepted it.

Common causes

  • A new or damaged domain or IP reputation.
  • Sending more, or faster, than the account's history supports.
  • Invalid, old or bought lists, and recipients with no reason to expect your email.
  • Identical messages, heavy promotional wording, many links or images.
  • Missing or incorrect SPF, DKIM or DMARC.

What to check

  • DNS records with Check DNS for MailRush email accounts.
  • Warmup placement on the Warming page.
  • Bounces, complaints and restrictions on the Feedback Loop page.
  • Send tests to your own Gmail and Outlook mailboxes.
  • Lower your daily limit while you fix the cause.
