What should I do if my sending account is restricted?

Updated Nov 2, 2026

Several things can hold a sender. Each one tells you why and when it ends.

Paused for a recipient provider

  • Listed under Sending restrictions on the Feedback Loop page with the reason and when sending resumes.
  • Spam, reputation or abuse bounces pause the sender for that provider for 1 hour, 1 day or 1 week; a new pause within 7 days moves up one level. A high bounce rate pauses until 00:00 UTC.
  • Campaign emails wait and continue automatically. API emails are refused with SENDER_PROVIDER_BLOCKED.
  • Use the pause to find the cause: review the list, the content and the volume.

Sender hourly or daily limit

  • The campaign badge shows Sender hourly limit or Sender daily limit. Sending resumes automatically.

Login failed

  • Run Test authentication and fix the account's login. Warmup pauses for a few hours after a failed login.

Account suspended for an unpaid invoice

  • Pay the overdue invoices under Settings, My Billing. Service is restored at the next daily billing run.
