How do I send a test email?

Steps

1. Open the campaign's sequence (pencil icon in Campaigns) and make sure an Email Sender is selected.
2. Click Preview on the step you want to test.
3. Click Send Preview Test, enter the Test Email Address and click Send Preview Test again.
4. Use Regenerate Preview to see other spintax variations before sending another test.

What a test does and does not do

• It sends a real email and counts toward your sender, provider and plan limits.
• Campaign tracking, the automatic unsubscribe footer and reply headers are left out.
• It does not advance the campaign or check its status, schedule or remaining allowance.
• "Accepted by the sender" means the email was handed over; it does not confirm inbox delivery.

Troubleshooting

"Test email outcome is uncertain. Do not resend…"

The result could not be confirmed. Check your test inbox before sending again, so you do not receive duplicates.

"Please generate a preview before sending a test email."

Click Preview first; the test sends the displayed preview.
