How do I configure DKIM?

Updated Nov 2, 2026

DKIM adds a signature that proves your email was not changed and comes from your domain. For MailRush email accounts, the key is created on the mail server after payment.

Steps

  1. Open the account's View DNS in Email Accounts.
  2. Find the DKIM record card. Its Name / host contains _domainkey. If it says "Awaiting provisioned selector", the mailbox is still being created; check again later.
  3. Copy the Value to publish exactly, without adding or removing characters.
  4. Publish it as a TXT record at your DNS provider with the name shown.
  5. Click Check DNS and confirm the card shows Ready.

Your own email accounts

  • DKIM for accounts connected with Use My Own Email is set up at your email provider.

Troubleshooting

The value does not match after publishing.
Some DNS providers split long TXT values or add quotes. Compare Currently published with Value to publish; the text must be identical.
