How do I use custom contact fields?

Every contact has six custom fields, custom1 to custom6, for anything you want to personalize with.

Steps

  1. When importing, map your extra CSV columns to custom1 to custom6.
  2. In the sequence editor, choose Custom 1 to Custom 6 from Personalization, or type {{custom1}}.
  3. Preview the email to check the values.

Good to know

  • The field names are fixed; keep a note of what each one holds for your team.
  • Each field holds up to 255 characters.
