How do I configure campaign sending limits?

Updated Nov 2, 2026

Three limits apply at the same time: your plan allowance, each sender's limit and each campaign's own daily limit. The lowest one decides how much is sent.

Steps

  1. Go to Campaigns, open More campaign options (⋮) and choose Settings.
  2. On the Daily Limits tab, set the Daily Sending Limit (emails per day for this campaign, first emails and follow-ups together).
  3. To grow the limit automatically, choose a Daily Increment (0%, 5%, 10%, 20%, 30%, 50% or 100%) and a Max ramp up limit. 0% turns ramp-up off.
  4. Click Save.

The other limits

  • Plan allowance: your plan's daily and 30-day totals for the whole account, shown on the Dashboard and My Plan. Campaigns, API emails, warmup and Inbox replies all count. The day resets at midnight UTC-5.
  • Sender limit: up to 100 emails per hour and 600 per day for a MailRush email account; up to 200 per hour and 1,000 per day for your own accounts; never more than your plan's daily limit.
  • Recipient providers: daily limits per provider for each sending address and domain.
  • The Frequency tab sets the minimum delay between two emails of the campaign. The slower of that delay and the sender's hourly limit sets the pace.

Recommendations are not limits

  • Starting low and increasing gradually protects a new sender's reputation, but it is your choice: the values only apply once you save them.

Troubleshooting

The campaign stopped after 25 emails.
25 per day is the starting Daily Sending Limit. Raise it on the Daily Limits tab; support approval is not needed.
