Video tutorial for creating a cold email follow-up sequence

Email follow-up sequences are an essential part of any cold email marketing campaign, but they can be tricky to set up. That’s why we’ve put together this video tutorial to show you how to create an email follow-up sequence for your campaign using, the powerful email marketing platform that makes it easy to send targeted, personalized emails to your audience.

First, log into the dashboard and navigate to the campaign section. Once there, click on “Settings” and then click on “Email Follow-ups.”

When you first arrive at the Email Follow-ups settings, you will see an option to use the “Predefined Automations” option. This choice is particularly useful if you’re just starting out and want to use a pre-existing email sequence. This will automatically create a 3-step follow-up sequence for you.

To change the content of an email, simply click on the step you want to update. From there, you can change the subject line, the content of the email, and when it should be sent. If you want to keep the email as a part of the same email communication thread, leave the subject line input empty. But if you want to send the email as a new communication, enter a subject line

Next, specify on what day count when to send the email, based on the day-1 email sent. On this process, you can set a single conditional is required to trigger the automation. In this case, the automation will trigger if we haven’t received a reply.

For example, in this video we set up a follow-up sequence where the first email will be sent 2 days after the day-1 email, the second will be sent 3 days after the day-1 email, and the third follow-up will be sent 5 days after the day-1 email. And the automation will respect the scheduled “sending hours” configuration that you set before. When you’re happy with your email follow-up sequence, click on “Save.”
